After opening the body of the deceased John Kramer, pathologists found a small audio cassette in the stomach, which was handed over to law enforcement officers investigating the terrible activities of the infamous Designer... Hoffman, along with the commander of the police unit Rigg arrive at the place where the lifeless body of a female detective Allison Carrie was found.

Federal Bureau of Investigation agents Strahm and Perez are starting to solve the case. The partners are trying to solve ingenious puzzles invented by a cruel villain who knows absolutely no pity. Returning home, Rigg was attacked by an unknown person who managed to put the officer to sleep. When he regained consciousness, he went into a room where a creepy mannequin face appeared on the TV screen, informing him that his colleague Eric Matthews had not died. Rigg has only an hour and a half at his disposal to save the detective from a tragic ending.
