Christie works as a psychologist, recently she had to go through the death of a patient, because of this she suffers from a nervous disorder that greatly spoils a woman's life. One day, the police ask the main character to have a conversation with a strange witness, he is an American, but his ancestors are from Norway. The guy remembers absolutely nothing, and detectives need to get important information about the murder he witnessed. Christie manages to talk to Eric, who during the conversation talks about his extraordinary abilities that allow him to control energy discharges.
