Three long centuries have passed since the end of the devastating war, better known on the planet as the "Fall", which brought a lot of troubles. Trying to find useful details for his activities in the Iron City landfill, a doctor named Dyson Ido accidentally discovered an almost completely destroyed robot girl. Without thinking twice, the man took the cyborg to his home. After doing painstaking work, the scientist was able to restore the android.

He named the mechanical creation after his daughter, who died under tragic circumstances. Since all the memories were erased from her program, the inquisitive Alita has to adapt to life in the world around her, learning a lot of interesting and important information. One day, the main character suddenly discovered the presence of extraordinary combat abilities, the existence of which she had not even imagined. Driven by curiosity, the girl wants to find out the secret of her own origin.
